Trans Global Freight Management Ltd. (TGFM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Rawlinson as Managing Director, effective 1 July 2026.
Simon’s appointment marks the latest chapter in a career with TGFM spanning more than three decades. He joined the company in 1994, beginning in the European Road Freight Division at the Manchester office, and has since held several key operational and leadership positions across the business.
His career has included establishing and developing TGFM’s Stoke-on-Trent branch into a fully multimodal operation, leading the European Transport Division from Basildon, and overseeing Surface Freight Services at the company’s Head Office in Greenhithe.
Most recently, as Operations Director, Simon has played a pivotal role in driving service excellence, business growth and operational transformation across the organisation.
With more than 30 years of freight forwarding and supply chain experience, Simon brings extensive industry knowledge and a deep understanding of TGFM, its customers and its people to his new role.
As Managing Director, his focus will be on delivering sustainable growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring TGFM continues to provide innovative, reliable and market-leading logistics solutions.
